President Donald Trump proposed on Monday that Israel end the Gaza ceasefire and restart the war if all hostages are not released within a week. Hamas is delaying the release of hostages it was supposed to release during the week, prompting fresh doubts that the ceasefire will resume.

Trump has acknowledged, speaking to reporters, that Israel may overwhelm him with an ultimatum during the week of the afternoon. And he also said that he may talk to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also expressed concern about the fate of those who are in captivity and also predicted that if they are released in the coming days, many people will be harmed.

Trump has also said that as far as I’m concerned if all the hostages are not released by 12 noon on Saturday I think it’s the best time to call it off then all bets are off and let all hell break loose on them if they don’t release them by 12 noon on Saturday there could be a big problem.

The comments came hours after Hamas announced it planned to delay the release of Israeli refugees on Saturday, and responded by claiming that Israel’s hostage-taking was against a ceasefire agreement.

Trump expressed anger and dismay at the physical condition of the three men who were freed on Saturday, saying they were subjected to mental torture and should be condemned.
